How do validity periods and TRC coverage work?

Coverage uses saved validity dates and the relevant form date. Document Center's TRC watch is a separate current-date view.

Navigation: Open Forms 145/146 → Forms Dashboard → Documents → file More actions → Edit period / details

How to do it

  1. Enter Valid from and Valid to when uploading a dated remittee type.
  2. Use FY/calendar presets only when they match the certificate.
  3. Use Edit period / details to correct metadata, or Add next period for a new certificate.
  4. Review the form drawer's date-specific coverage; use TRC lapsed/expiring filters for current monitoring.

What to expect

Evidence for different periods can be retained without treating every TRC as current for every form.

Important details

  • Filename-derived period guesses must be checked against the source.
  • At most two documents of the same dated type can cover any one date; there is no overall cap across years. A single validity period can be at most five years. Do not invent dates to bypass a conflict.
