How do I preview a document, and why is preview sometimes unavailable?
Use the eye/Preview action for a ready supported file; Download is a separate action.
Navigation: Open Forms 145/146 → Forms Dashboard → Documents drawer / Documents → Files → Preview
How to do it
- Find the file and check its upload/security status.
- Click Preview when offered, then use the viewer's file list or Previous/Next arrows.
- Use Download in the viewer for an allowed file; Close/Esc leaves the preview.
- For an unsupported format/provider preview, use an enabled Download instead of reuploading the source.
What to expect
WrapTax Storage supports browser PDF/image previews; SharePoint can supply provider previews for additional formats.
Important details
- Word upload support does not guarantee inline DOC/DOCX preview under WrapTax Storage.
- Caching can speed revisits, but access/security checks and temporary-link expiry still apply.
